Hello everyone, welcome to Surin, the Elephant city.

The Elephant Round-Up is one of the most famous festival in Thailand takes place in November every year. I would like you to join this festival in order to get amazing experience such as the world’s largest elephant buffet, tug of war, night show light and sound performance show at Sikhoraphum castle as well as shopping shopping local products.

The Elephant Round-Up festival duration is held on 14-25 November, 2018. Even thought, the festival is started in mid November, I recommend you to visit the festival between 15-18 November 2018 in order to see the elephant show.

The schedule of the Elephant Round-Up 2018 is officially announced as follows:

November 15, 2018

  • 8.30 a.m.  The unofficial practice of the Elephant show at Elephant Stadium.
  • 6.30 p.m.  The contest of Elephant food truck at Phraya Surin Phakdi Si Narong Chang Wang Monument

November 16, 2018

  • 8.00 a.m. – 12.00 p.m.  The world’s largest elephant buffet. The parade start from Surin train station to Phraya Surin Phakdi Si Narong Chang Wang Monument
  • 6.00 p.m  Night show light and sound performance show at Sikhoraphum castle at Sikhoraphum district

November 17, 2018

  • 8.30 a.m. – 11.30 p.m.  The first round of the Elephant Round-Up show
  • 6.00 p.m  Night show light and sound performance show at Sikhoraphum castle at Sikhoraphum district

November 18, 2018

  • 8.30 a.m. – 11.30 p.m.  The final round of the Elephant Round-Up show

If you want to reserve a ticket for the Elephant Round-Up, you can do it at a ticket booth located in front of the Elephant Stadium.

The costs of ticket is based on position of the stadium including 1,000, 500 and 300 Baht. In my opinion, 1,000 and 500 Baht Ticket are not different.
